Checkout 51 – Earn Money Back on Your Groceries

Checkout51

Today I discovered a new opportunity to earn money back on grocery purchases. This one does NOT require a Smartphone. If you DO have a Smartphone, they have apps for the iPhone and Android.

It’s similar to Ibotta, in that you get offers and submit your receipts after shopping. With Checkout 51, once you reach $20 in your account, you can cash out and they will mail you a check.

If you do not have a Smartphone you will need to take pictures of your receipt and upload them on the Checkout51 website.

I signed up for the first time earlier today and I got an offer for $2 when I submit my first receipt of $20 or more.

Checkout51Offers

A couple of things to keep in mind when using Checkout 51:

  • Offers go live on Thursdays at 12:00 AM in each time zone, and expire the following Wednesday at 11:59 PM. You MUST submit the receipts for offers while they are live.
  • Offers are available in limited quantities. Be sure to check offers immediately prior to going shopping and submit your receipts right after shopping to avoid missing out on an offer.
  • Each receipt can only be used once.
  • Cash back will only be given for specific products listed, so be sure to read the details of the offer carefully.
  • We are permitted to use Checkout 51 with other coupons and discounts, unless otherwise stated.

$0.50/1 Chompie’s Cream Cheese – Fry’s Facebook Exclusive Coupon

FrysCrmChs

I’m finding it hard to get too excited about this week’s Fry’s Facebook Exclusive eCoupon:

Save $0.50/1 Chompie’s Cream Cheese (exp. 1/14/14)

Don’t get me wrong, I like cream cheese as much as anyone, but I like saving $$ off my total shopping bill even more. Hopefully they will bring back the old type of ecoupons soon.

Zaycon Foods – Chicken Even

If you are looking for a good price on chicken breast, check out Zaycon Foods.  They are currently taking orders in multiple areas.  The Arizona Chicken Events are all across the state next month.  For their chicken event, boneless, skinless chicken breasts are sold in 40 lb. cases.  The price for Arizona is $1.89/lb.  They usually have their chicken event twice a year.

  • 100 % natural chicken with no added hormones, additives or artificial ingredients
  • Comes directly from the processor and has never been frozen
  • Sold by the case — 40 lbs in each case
  • Case dimensions—18 in. wide x 12 in. deep x 7 in. tall

I’ve ordered chicken from them several times and been very happy with the results.  The breasts are moist and tender.  Since they’ve never been frozen I cut them up and freeze them when I get them home.  If 40 lbs. sounds like too much chicken at one time, consider finding someone to split a case with.  I usually split a case with my mom.

The ordering process and pick-up is easy.

  • Once you sign up, go into your account and select the location where you want to pick up your chicken.
  • Pay for the order online (via their secure site)
  • A day before the pick-up date, you will get a reminder email from them.
  • Drive over to the location of your choosing on the day/time of the pick-up.
  • You simply stay in your car, let them know who you are.
  • They will verify your order and place the appropriate items in your trunk or backseat (whatever location you specify).
